Undeniably stylistic and authentic in her recalling of classic country music but with the poise of relevant Americana, Steph Irene warrants a heavy hit with her debut singles. Her textured, soprano warble accomplishes both incredible emotion and thoughtful songwriting, and was beautifully recorded by producer/engineer Scott Franchuk of Riverdale Records in Edmonton, AB.

As a founding member of her alt-country-leaning, bilingual project, Post Script, Steph spent much of the last 5 years touring and recording with husband/musician Paul Cournoyer. Now exploring a distinctly separate revelation, she pays homage to the stories and agony of traditional country with precise vision. Simultaneously, she delivers on melodic promises with rich, warm recordings reminiscent of The Jayhawks, Emmylou Harris and Dolly Parton.
